Hand to Hand Care Ltd are an established home care provider delivering high quality care to adults in their own homes. We are looking for dedicated and conscientious care assistants to join our ever growing friendly team on a full/part time and flexible basis.

We require caring and compassionate individuals that enjoy interacting with adults and assisting them with their daily living activities. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing high quality care and support.

To be a successful candidate you will need to be motivated, flexible, well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. We are a family run business that has one goal, to enable our clients to live their best life in their own home.

Experience is desirable for this role, but not essential as full training and support is given.

Your role will include;

  • Assisting clients with personal care, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.

  • Performing light housekeeping tasks if requested.

  • Assisting in the moving and handling of clients.

  • Observing, monitoring and recording clients physical and emotional well-bing and reporting any changes to senior staff.

We offer full comprehensive training and support from senior staff members. You will receive all the tools you need to complete your role to the highest possible standard. We also believe in personal development and ongoing training.

Role requirements;

  • All applicants must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving license.

  • Proof of the right to work in the UK.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.

  • Patience, a cheery demeanour, the ability to multitask, being able to think quickly, punctuality, willingness to learn, being a good listener, kindness and empathy, willingness to go the extra mile, being able to take responsibility.
